There are two ways to make a polish with olive oil depending on the level of varnish on the furniture. Polishes made with olive oil work best on furniture that has oil varnishes. This is not a varnish solution but rather an alternative way to polish furniture.

However, olive oil polishes are suitable for polyurethane, oil burnished furniture and laminate-covered furniture. Avoid using it on valuable antique furniture, very old varnished furniture, or wood furniture polish.
